According to the NEET PG counselling schedule for 2023, applicants should arrive to the designated institutions with the original paperwork by September 5. According to MCC, candidates who did not advance to round 2 and wish to resign their position may do so between 10 a.m. on September 1 and 6 p.m. on September 2 without losing their security deposit.
After this window, the applicants will be taken into account for the second round of counselling, and they will lose their security deposit upon leaving. This means that any resignation made after 6:00 PM on September 2, 2023, will result in the forfeiture of fees, according to MCC.
In order to avoid having their resignation deemed as “null and void,” the committee advised applicants to make sure their resignation letter was generated online by the designated college. In that situation, the candidate will be considered to be seated, and round 2 regulations will be in effect.
The MCC additionally stated that “any letter other than a resignation letter generated through an online portal will not be considered a “resignation letter”.
