NEET Exam 2022
NEET ( National-Eligibility-cum-Entrance-Test ) 2022 examination is to be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for the admission of eligible candidates to the undergraduate medical courses in medical colleges. The test for National-Eligibility-cum-Entrance-Test [NEET(UG) 2022 is to be conducted in on-line mode. NEET 2022 is going to be conducted in thirteen different languages, for the admission of eligible students into MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BSMS/BUMS/BHMS and different undergraduates (UG) medical courses in approved/recognized Medical/Dental/AYUSH and different educational institutes/ Deemed Universities /Institutes across India. The languages within which the NEET (UG) 2022 has been conducted are English, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. NEET-UG is a single entrance test for admissions to more than 66,000 MBBS and BDS seats across India.NEET is the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test conducted in offline mode to apply for admission in MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, Nursing and other courses. All the government and private medical colleges are going to offer admission under 15% AIQ ( All India Quota ) and 85% State Level Quota Seats. NEET Exam Pattern 2022 will be announced by the National Testing Agency (NTA), along with the NEET 2022 notification and information bulletin. It is expected that the NEET exam pattern 2022 will remain same as the previous year. As per the new exam pattern of NEET, there will be 200 multiple-choice objective-type questions from three subjects - Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Each question carries four answer options. As per the NEET marks distribution scheme, each question carries four marks and one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. The sum total marks of NEET 2022 will be 720. Aspirants aiming to appear for NEET 2022 must be appraised of the NEET exam pattern while preparing. Aspirants seeking knowledge regarding the section-wise distribution of NEET 2022 marks along with the total marks will be provided with proper knowledge of the exam pattern in this article. In the new NEET 2022 exam pattern, the marking scheme and types of questions will be the same. NEET Exams 2022 will be conducted in offline mode i.e. pen-paper based mode only. NEET Exam Pattern 2022 - Subject Wise Weightage
Highlights
[table id="2997" responsive="" responsive_breakpoint=""] Clarifying the NEET exam pattern 2022, NTA stated the following instructions for the candidates- Section A consists of 35 questions in each of the subject (Question Numbers - 01 to 035, 051 to 085, 101 to 135, and 151 to 185). All questions are compulsory.
- Section B consists of 15 questions in each of the subject (Question Numbers – 036 to 050, 086 to 100, 136 to 150, and 186 to 200). In Section B, a candidate needs to attempt any 10 questions out of 15 in each subject.
- Candidates were advised to read all 15 questions in Section B of each subject carefully before they start attempting the question paper. In the case of a candidate attempting more than 10 questions, the first 10 questions answered by the candidate will be evaluated.
NEET Physics Exam Pattern 2022
- There will be two sections: Section A and B respectively.
- Only Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) type questions will be asked in the paper.
- Section A will consist of 35 Questions and Section B will have 15 questions.
- Out of 15 Questions in section B, candidates can choose to attempt any 10 Questions. So, the total number of questions and utilization of time will remain the same.
NEET Chemistry Exam Pattern 2022
- There will be two sections: Section A and B respectively.
- Only Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) type questions will be asked in the paper.
- Internal choice in section B of the chemistry paper.
- Section A will consist of 35 Questions and Section B will have 15 questions
NEET Biology Exam Pattern 2022
- Biology is divided into two different part - Zoology and Botany.
- Further, the two subjects i.e. Zoology and Botany respectively will be divided into Section A and B.
- A total of 100 questions will be asked from this section.

- The language chosen once cannot be changed
- Candidates who have opted for English as a medium will be provided with the Test Booklet in English language only
- The medium of question paper has to be selected in the NEET 2022 application form
- Candidates opting for any other language will be provided with a Bilingual Test Booklet, their selected language preference, and English
- The English version of the NEET question paper shall be treated as final in case of any ambiguity in the translation of any of the questions
Marking Scheme For NEET Exams 2022
- One correct answer fetches +4 marks and one incorrect answer will cost -1 mark.
- It is not mandatory to attempt all questions. There is no negative marking for unattempted questions.
- Once you mark an answer, you cannot change it.
- Multiple answers will be considered as incorrect responses and will be marked negatively.
