From the NIT Goa the B.Tech CSE final students Pritika Barshilia & Suyash Mirchandani, pick off the “Goa State Innovation Council Grant” for their innovative project on the topic “Modelling and Simulation of Brain-Computer Interface for Lie Detection using Deep Learning Paradigms and Fuzzy Logic.”
The team was under the guidance of Dr. Damodar Reddy Edla.
What is the Goa State Innovation Council Grant?
Goa State Innovation Council Grant which is also known as GSInC has several schemes that benefit the students in all manner. Below are the schemes are displayed that is provided by the Goa State Innovation Council Grant:
Goa Rajya Vidnyanik Puraskar (GRVP):
A scheme to award innovators this scheme is encourged.
Provisional Patent Grant:
In this scheme, the candidates who have applied can receive an amount of up to Rs. 10,000 to file a provisional patent application.
Scheme to Encourage Innovative Student Projects:
This project of the GSInC has also mentored 74 projects as of March 2023. Of which 49 are in the prototyping stage and the remaining 9 have filed provisional patents.
Prototyping Grant:
In this, the students or the applicants can receive a grant to prototype innovative projects.
