Washroom video from Udupi College: FIR against students, college

According to police sources, a FIR has been filed against three female students at a paramedical college in Udupi over the alleged filming of a video of a fellow student lately in the college lavatory
At the Malpe police station in Udupi, a FIR has been registered.
The FIR lists Shabhnaz, Alfiya, and Aleema as three students. According to reports, the FIR was filed under sections 509, 204, 175, 34, and 66(e) of the IT Act and also names the college administration. According to a police statement, two distinct suo motu complaints have been filed in relation to the video recording at Netra Jyothi Institute of Allied Health Sciences’ lavatory.
Three female students and the college administration are the defendants in a case alleging the filming and subsequent deletion of a female student’s private video.
Police have accused them of failing to provide information and evidence about the incident that could damage the victim’s image. One India Kannada YouTube channel allegedly posted a modified footage of the event.
The same was published on Twitter by a person by the name of Kalu Singh Chawhan. According to the statement, a case for inciting racial animosity and upsetting social cohesion has also been filed.
On the grounds that they had recently recorded a video in the college lavatory, the three female students were expelled from the institution. Political circles are buzzing about the matter, and the BJP has called for a statewide demonstration on Thursday to demand the arrest of the three Muslim students who took part in the recording of a Hindu girl.
Police had warned the public not to trust reports the day before that females from one community had singled out a girl from another and posted a video of her they purportedly took in the lavatory.
