Today, September 22, the Directorate General of Medical Education and Training, Uttar Pradesh, will begin accepting registrations for the UP NEET UG counselling 2023. For state quota medical and dental seats, eligible candidates may apply for state National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET UG) counselling at upneet.gov.in. The application deadline is September 24.

According to the timetable, students have until September 24 to pay the registration fee and security deposit, and between September 23 and September 25, online document verification will take place.

Only applicants who did not receive a seat in the first, second, or mop-up rounds of state counselling are eligible for the stray vacancy round.

Steps to register for stray vacancy round 2023?

Step 1: Go to the UP NEET Counselling official website, upneet.gov.in Step 2: Click the link for registration

Step 3: Register yourself by providing basic information.

Step 4: Complete the application and upload the necessary paperwork.

Step 5: Complete the form and pay the registration fee

Step 6: Save the form to your computer and print it off.

The registration cost is Rs 1,000 for applicants. Government medical schools require a security deposit of Rs 30,000, private medical schools require a security deposit of Rs 2 lakh, and private dentistry schools require a security deposit of Rs 1 lakh. It is not necessary for candidates who have already paid the security deposit to reapply.

NEET UG Counselling Stray Vacancy Round 2023: Eligibility Requirements

The following are the qualifying requirements and other crucial elements for the Stray Vacancy round of NEET UG counselling in 2023:

  • In the previous three rounds, seats should not have been allocated to candidates.
  • Candidates need to have vacated the designated seats.
  • For the Stray Vacancy round of NEET UG counselling in 2023, candidates who received seats in Round 3 should have chosen to upgrade.

According to MCC, if an applicant receives a seat in the Stray Vacancy phase of NEET UG counselling 2023, he must enrol in the seat or college that he has been given. The contestant will be disqualified from the NEET exam for one year and have their fees forfeited if they do not take the assigned seat.

Stray Vacancy Round NEET UG Counselling 2023 Seat Allotment List

Following the processing of seat allotment based on the selections made, the seat allocation list or seat allocation outcome for NEET 2023 counselling for the Stray Vacancy round will be made public. Candidates can submit inconsistencies against the provisional seat allotment results that

MCC will disclose within the allotted time frame. The final seat allocation outcome will then be made public. Following are the methods to check the outcome of the Stray Vacancy round of counselling:

  • Visit the NEET counselling program’s official website at mcc.nic.in.
  • Go to the UG Medical tab.
  • A link labelled “Provisional Result of UG 2023 Round 3” may be found in the section under “Current Events.”
  • Install the PDF file.
  • Locate your NEET 2023 Roll Number to find out how you are doing.

A second round of stray vacancies was held by MCC for the BDS and BSc Nursing programmes last year. This year, there’s a chance that will happen as well. Three rounds of NEET UG counselling for 2023 were held by MCC before to the Stray Vacancy round, with dates ranging from July 20 to September 18. For admission to MBBS, BDS, and BSc Nursing programmes at Deemed and Central Universities, private medical schools, AIIMS, and JIPMER institutions, MCC conducts NEET counselling.
