UP NEET PG Counselling 2023: Registration window will close today for Round 1; merit list tomorrow

The registration period for the UP National Eligibility Cumulative Entrance Test (NEET) PG 2023 counselling will close today, according to the Directorate General of Medical Education and Training in Uttar Pradesh. Candidates can register through the official website, dgme.up.gov.in, until 5 pm if they wish to participate in the first round of UP NEET PG counselling.
There will be three rounds of UP NEET PG admissions counselling, including a mop-up round. The UP PG medical admission will be granted in accordance with preferences. The assignment letter, NEET PG admission card, MBBS graduation certificates or degree, copy of NEET PG result, 12-month mandatory rotatory internship completion certificate, permanent registration certificate from MCI or state medical council are among the documents that candidates would need to present.

By tomorrow, August 9, at 5 p.m., candidates can submit the registration fee of Rs 3,000 for the first round of UP NEET PG counselling. Tomorrow, the authority will release the merit list. The candidates will fill out and lock their choices between August 10 and August 13, 2023, at 11 am.
For admission to 891 MD, MS, PG diploma, and 32 MDS seats offered under the 50% state quota seats in government colleges, as well as seats available in private colleges of the state, the counselling committee is holding UP NEET PG 2023 counselling.
UP NEET PG Counselling 2023: Eligibility Requirements
- The candidate must have graduated from an accredited medical school in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
- Candidates who reside in Uttar Pradesh and hold an MBBS degree from an institution outside of the state may also apply for UP NEET PG 2022 counselling (15% AIQ seat).
- The only candidates eligible for admission to government, state, private, or deemed universities are those who have completed the MBBS or BDS programme in Uttar Pradesh.
- Only seats in private universities are open to applicants who did not complete their MBBS degree in Uttar Pradesh and are not residents of that state.
- By July 30, 2023, he or she must have finished the required rotational internship.
- He or she must have passed the NEET PG.
