UP NEET PG 2023: Round 2 Counselling Ends Today, Merit List Will Be Released Tomorrow

The registration period for UP NEET PG counselling round 2 will be closed by the Directorate General of Medical Education and Training, Uttar Pradesh. On the official website, upneet.gov.in, candidates who passed the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for Postgraduates (NEET PG 2023) can register for the UP NEET PG 2nd round counselling 2023.

Applicants who did not receive seats in the first round of UP NEET counselling are still eligible to apply. After registration is finished, students will have one additional day to pay fees and submit security deposits.

On August 29, the UP NEET PG 2023 merit list will be released. From September 1 at 11 AM to September 4 at 11 AM, the UP NEET choice filling and locking facility can be used based on that.

How to Sign Up For 2023 UP NEET PG Counselling

Step-by-step instructions for applying to the Uttar Pradesh NEET 2023 counselling for admission to the PG medical programmes provided by the state’s public and private medical colleges.

• Visit upneet.gov.in to access the UP NEET website.
• Under PG counselling, scroll down and select the “Registration for state merit” link.
• The candidate registration page for counselling will appear.
• Select the counseling’s name, roll number, email address, and captcha code at this point.
• Log in and fill out your personal and academic information.
• Upload the necessary files in the format required.
• Review and submit the UP NEET application.

The UP NEET 2nd round result for 2023 will be released on September 5 or 6, according to the timetable.

All About UP NEET 2023:

The Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET) conducts counselling for UP NEET 2023. To take part in the seat allocation procedure, applicants must register online and submit an application. The candidates on the merit list for UP MBBS/BDS admission 2023 are those who can participate in the counselling process.

For seat allocation, candidates must indicate their preferences for colleges and courses. It should be mentioned that UP NEET counselling will be done in 2023 for the allocation of 85% of seats. For the allocation of the remaining 15% of All India Quota seats, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct NEET 2023 counselling.

The minimum cutoff requirement for NEET 2023 qualification is a requirement for counselling.

Three rounds of counselling will be held for UP NEET 2023. An open round or mop-up round will take place in the third round. In the second round, the seats that were unfilled after the first round of DGME UP NEET UG 2023 counselling would be carried over.

It is crucial to remember that the National Eligibility Completion Entrance Test is the only factor used to determine admission to the MBBS/BDS programmes offered by the medical institutes in Uttar Pradesh. The state won’t hold any more entrance exams for this reason. Based on selections made, NEET score, reservation variables, etc., seats are assigned.
