Eligibility Criteria

UCEED CEED

Age Limit:

Born on or after October 1, 2000 (OPEN/EWS/OBC-NCL) and on or after October 1, 1995 (SC/ST/PwD)

Educational Qualification:
Passed Class XII (or equivalent) in 2024 or appearing in 2025 in any stream (Science, Commerce, Arts & Humanities)

Intermediate/Pre-University:
Two-year Pre-University examination conducted by a Board or University recognized by AIU

Joint Services Wing:
Final examination of the two-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the National Defence Academy

Senior Secondary School:
Examination conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling with a minimum of five subjects

Public School/Board/University:
Examination in India or a foreign country recognized as equivalent to the 10+2 system by AIU

H.S.C. Vocational:
H.S.C. vocational examination

GCE Examination:
General Certificate of Education (GCE) examination (London, Cambridge, or Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level

High School Certificate:
Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva.

Class XII Outside India:
Candidates must produce a certificate from AIU stating the examination is equivalent to the Class XII examination

Non-Public Class XII:
Must have passed at least one public (Board or Pre-University) examination before appearing for UCEED

Diploma:
Recognized by the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) or a State Board of Technical Education of at least three years duration

Educational Qualification:

Degree/Diploma/Postgraduate degree program of minimum 3 years (after 10+2 level) or appearing in 2025

 

Passed the GD Arts

diploma program (10+5 level) by July 2025.

How to Apply?

   UCEED

      • Candidates must register online for UCEED 2025 through the portal at www.uceed.iitb.ac.in.
      • They must meet all three eligibility criteria. If any criteria are not met, registration will be cancelled. 
      • The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. 
      • Candidates are responsible for providing accurate information and valid documents. Incomplete forms will be rejected. Institutes can cancel admission if any information is incorrect or incomplete.

CEED

    1. Visit the Official Website: Go to the CEED 2025 official website.
    2. Registration: The online registration portal opens on October 1, 2024, at 1:00 PM. You can register until October 31, 2024, without a late fee. If you miss this window, you can still register with a late fee from November 1 to November 8, 2024.
    3. Fill Out the Application Form: Provide your personal, academic, and contact details. Make sure to select your preferred exam centre.
    4. Upload Documents: Upload the required documents, such as your photograph, signature, and qualifying exam certificates, in the prescribed format.
    5. Pay the Application Fee: The fee is INR 1,900 for women/SC/ST/PwD candidates and INR 3,800 for all other candidates.
    6. Submit the Form: After completing all the steps, submit the form and take a printout for future reference.

Programs & Seat Intake For B.Des and M.Des

CEED:

CEED is a qualifying exam for M.Des and it doesn’t have any reservation criteria for the exam. There is separate reservation criteria for the below colleges IISc Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati,

IIT Hyderabad, IIT Jodhpur, IIT Kanpur, IIT Roorkee, IIITDM Jabalpur, and IIITDM Kancheepuram.
