Two New MoUs Signed by NLU Delhi: Collaborations on the Way!

The National Law University of Delhi recently signed two Memoranda of Understanding to enhance their academia-industry connection.
On October 26, these MoUs were brought to light. One is with the General Counsels’ Association of India (GCAI) while the other one is with Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL).
NLUD made these collaborations in a way that favors their students for their future plans and internship opportunities. This would also increase their knowledge about in-house laws and business experience.
Collaboration with GCAI
With the start of this beautiful collaboration between GCAI and NLU Delhi, students along with faculty expect a broader academia-industry connection. GCAI will develop various courses and opportunities for internships in this diversity of law. Students of NLUD are as thrilled about this opportunity as General counselors’ are.
GCAI is formed and managed by in-house legal counsel. This has a vision to create a global platform for law students and allow them to practice this profession with due recognition.
Let’s know about their Memorandum of Understanding in detail. These two institutions will collaborate in the following ways:
- Offer Innovative courses for law students to provide practical insights to both students and professionals.
- Supporting the students by increasing their internships and job opportunities.
- It would provide inputs to the university on curricular reforms.
- Also, to assist and collaborate with the National University of Law Delhi’s Arbitration and medical center as well.
These MoUs signed by the two institutions are presently for three years only.
Maruti Suzuki Limited India
This agreement between MSLI and NLUD to work as an industry-academia partnership will work as an assist and guide for the students pursuing law.
MSLI would also offer opportunities like learning and skill building. On-the-job training and knowledge transfer are also some of the main privileges of this collaboration!
Maruti Suzuki as well as the General Counsel is excited about the collaboration. This internship program will surely lead students toward a first-hand experience of working with one of the largest automakers in India.
