NBE Reschedules NEET MDS 2023
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has rescheduled the date to conduct the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Master of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS 2023) to March 1, 2023.
The board earlier said that the NEET-MDS will be held on January 8, 2023. Following a discussion with the Dental Council of India (DCI), the committee decided to hold the tests in March 2023.
The online NEET-MDS application form will be available soon on the NBEMS website. Following a directive from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare to modify results based on the lower 25.714 percentile as per DCI norms, the board recently published the NEET-MDS 2022 cut-offs.
NEET MDS 2023 Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates who wish to take the NEET MDS 2023 test must be Indian citizens. Overseas Indian citizens (OCIs) and people of Indian origin (PIOs) are also eligible for the NEET MDS 2023.
- The candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in dental surgery (BDS) from an Indian institution or institute recognized by the DCI and approved by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW).
- Applicants must have a DCI or state dental council temporary or permanent registration certificate (SDC).
- Finally, applicants must complete a 12-month internship.
NEET MDS 2023 fees for the examination:
- Candidates from the general and OBC categories will be paid Rs 4,250.
- Candidates from the SC, ST, and PWD categories will be paid Rs 3,250.
