Students develop advanced humanoid robot ‘MITRA’ with multi-purpose applications

​Two third-year students from Birla Institute of Technology (BIT) Mesra have developed MITRA, a humanoid robot aimed at improving education, defence, and space exploration. Saikat Dey from mathematics and computing and Harshit Kachhap from electronics and communication engineering were inspired by ISRO’s Vyommitra project.
