Eligibility Criteria

- Medical Qualifications: Must have a medical degree recognized under the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, or an equivalent qualification.
- Postgraduate Qualifications: Must hold a recognized MD/MS/DM/MCh or equivalent in the relevant specialty.
Teaching & Research Experience:
- Professor: 14 years post-MD/DNB, including 3 years as Senior Resident.
- Additional Professor: 10 years post-MD/DNB, including 3 years as Senior Resident.
- Associate Professor: 6 years post-MD/DNB, including 3 years as Senior Resident.
- Assistant Professor: 3 years post-MD/DNB, including 1 year as Senior Resident.
DM/MCh/DNB (Super-Specialty) qualifications may also be considered with relevant experience.
Minimum Qualifications for Teachers: Must fulfill NMC’s regulations for medical teaching institutions.
Age Limit: Maximum age of 50 years as on January 20, 2025.
Pay Scale (as per the 7th Pay Commission):
