The Symbiosis Institute of Design has extended the deadline for submitting admission forms and announced the date of the Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design (SEED 2024) exam. On the BDes admission exam’s official website, sid.edu.in, registration is currently open.
The SEED exam for 2024 will take place on January 7, as scheduled. The final day for SEED registration in 2024 has been moved up by ten days to November 30.
Candidates may sit for the test if they have earned a government-approved diploma with a minimum GPA of 50% (or 45% for SC and ST candidates) and a Class 12 diploma from any recognised board.

How Do Sign Up For SID SEED 2024?
Candidates can fill up the SEED 2024 application by following the comprehensive instructions provided below.
- Visit sid.edu.in to see the SEED 2024 webpage.
- The ‘BDes registration starts’ link can be found on the homepage.
- Next, click the “New Registration” link and fill out the form.
- There will be a generated BDes ID and password.
- Re-login with your email or BDes ID and password.
- The application for SEED 2024 will appear.
- Fill in the appropriate fields with your personal and academic information.
- Include a recent passport-sized photo and your grades for grades 10 and 12.
- After reviewing the form, submit it.

Eligibility Requirements: SEED 2024 Participation Counselling
Based on their SID merit rank, candidates will be selected for SEED 2024 counselling and seat allocation.

The SEED 2024 first merit list-cum-seat allocation will be made public in April 2024. All candidates who make the list must confirm their seats by paying the seat-acceptance fee before the deadline. The seat will be given to the candidate after them in the order of merit if the candidate fails to make the payment.

- Passport-size photo in the following file types:.jpg,.jpeg,.png, or.gif (size limit: 150 kb).
- SSC grades
- HSC grades
- Birth certificate information and a Class 10 pass certificate

SEED requires a Rs. 2950 admission registration fee (Rs. 1950 for SEED and Rs. 1000 for SID).

SEED 2024: Merit List
- Around the last week of April 2024, the admissions committee will announce the first merit list for SEED 2024.
- The names of the applicants chosen for enrollment in the B.Des programme offered by the Symbiosis Institute of Design will be listed in the merit list. The merit ranks and scores of the chosen candidates will also be included.
- Candidates who are on the chosen list must pay the entrance fee and fulfil other requirements in order to secure their seats. At the time of seat distribution, the fee payment schedule will be made public.
- The SID admission portal, sid.edu.in, is where the SEED 2024 merit list must be downloaded.
- The Symbiosis Institute of Design may publish further merit lists if there are any open seats after the first admission round.
