Exam Date 

The exam date the RRB ALP CBT-2 is announced by the Indian Railways, individuals should know that the examination is going to be administered on 19 and 20 March 2025 with an exam time duration of 02 hours and 30 minutes. Individuals will be able to check the timing and venue by downloading the individual admit card from the web-portal.

Exam Pattern 

The Railway Recruitment Boards will administer the RRB ALP CBT-2 across the country with an exam time duration 2.5 hours, out of which, 90 minutes and 60 minutes will be allocated for Part A and Part B, respectively. A total number of 100 MCQs will be asked in Part A from the following sections:

• Mathematics: 25 questions
• General Intelligence & Reasoning: 25 questions
• Basic Science & Engineering: 40 questions
• General Awareness on Current Affairs: 10 questions

60 MCQs will be asked in Part B will be asked from the Domain Knowledge. Each question in the CBT-2 will be ot 1 mark with a provision of negative marking, incase of incorrect response 0.32 mark will be deducted; and the medium of exam will be English and Hindi
