OFMK Tool Designer Recruitment 2025: The Ordnance Factory Medak (OFMK), a unit of Armoured Vehicles Nigam Limited (AVNL), has released a notification for the recruitment of Tool Designers (Mechanical) on a Fixed Term Contract Basis.

Vacancy Details for OFMK Tool Designer Recruitment 2025

OFMK has announced two vacancies for the Tool Designer (Mechanical) position under the Unreserved (UR) category.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Essential: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent OR a Bachelor’s degree (BE) in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience

Candidates must have at least 10 years of working experience in:

• AVNL / Ordnance Factories / PSUs / Autonomous bodies / Government Departments / Defence Services.
• Press Tool Design (Minimum 5 years experience).
• Fixture Designing (Welding, Milling, Turning) (Minimum 10 years experience).
• AutoCAD (Minimum 5 years experience).
• Designing tools for Military Vehicles (Minimum 10 years experience).
• A valid experience certificate must be provided for Press Tool Design and Military Vehicle Tooling experience.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 63 years as of the advertisement date.

Salary and Benefits for OFMK Tool Designer Recruitment 2025

• Remuneration: ₹30,000/- per month OR Last Basic Pay minus Pension, whichever is lower.
• No additional allowances such as DA, HRA, or medical benefits.
