Odisha Teacher Recruitment 2023: Applications for 20,000 Junior Teacher Posts Opens From Sep 13

For the positions of junior teachers in basic and upper primary schools, the Odisha School Education Programme Authority is accepting applications. Through the official website, osepa.odisha.gov.in, qualified applicants may begin applying starting on September 13. The deadline for applications is October 10.
“Applications are invited from applicants who wish to apply for the position of junior instructor (schematic) only through the online application process beginning September 13, 2023. October 10, 2023, is the last day to submit an online application.
No other application method will be approved. No examination fees will apply, according to an official statement from OSEPA.
On September 11, 2023, it stated, “The information on district- and category-specific posts will be available in OSEPA website, osepa.odisha.gov.in.”
According to the School and Mass Education Department of Odisha, 20,000 junior teaching positions would be filled in state-run schools in various revenue districts. The candidates will be chosen based on their performance on a computerised examination.
The website has the CBT exam syllabus available. Candidates’ later-issued admit cards will include information about the CBT exam’s date, time, and location.

Odisha Junior Teacher Recruitment: Eligibility Criteria
CATEGORIES 1 (For Grades 1–5): Candidates must have completed class 10+2 with at least 50% of the required marks and a two-year diploma in elementary education OR 10+2 with at least 45% of the required marks and a two-year diploma in elementary education in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations OR 10+2 with at least 50% of the required marks and a four-year B.El.Ed OR 10+2 or its equivalent with at least 50% of the required marks and a two- Candidates must possess Odia as a MIL up to class X or pass an Odia language examination equivalant to the Matric level administered by the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha, or deemed equivalent.
(For Classes VI to VIII) CATEGORY-2 – Candidates must have a degee and a 2-year Elementary Education Diploma OR at least 50% marks in their undergraduate or graduate studies and a bachelor’s degree OR a 12-year-old with at least 50% marks and a 4-year B.A./B.Sc.Ed. OR a graduation with at least 50% marks and a 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education) OR a post-graduate degree with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade. Candidates must have Odia as their MIL up to class X or have successfully passed an Odia language test that has been determined to be equivalent to the Matric standard.
