Odisha Class 11 Admission 2023: Phase 2 Begins E-Admission for Vacant Seats Today, Last Date to Apply by August 28
The Student Academic Management System (SAMS) has been used by the Directorate of Secondary Education (DSE), Odisha, to seek applications for e-admission against the phase 2 vacant seats for Class 11 in the state’s higher secondary schools (HSS) for the academic session 2023–24.
As of today, August 16, qualified students may submit an application via the official website, samsodisha.gov.in.
Candidates must have passed the High School Certificate (HSC) test given by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, or its equivalent boards in order to apply for the Class 11 vacant seats in Phase 2.
According to the board, no claim for a reserve or weighting will be taken into account for admissions for open seats.

The Directorate of Secondary Education, Odisha, issued the following official statement: “Applicants will be informed of their selection and admission reporting times by SMS or WhatsApp, inside their SAMS login, on the HSS online merit list (www.samsodisha.gov.in), and on the HSS notice board. Only in Phase-ll, First Selection, will a notification letter be generated in the applicant’s login and shared over WhatsApp.
Steps to Apply for Odisha Class 11 Admission 2023–24 Online
- Go to www.samsodisha.gov.in, the SAMS website.
- On the homepage, select the Higher Secondary School (+2) option under the School & Mass Education header.
- Click the “New Student Registration” button when the new page displays.
- Enter the student’s name, mobile number, and optional email address in the space provided.
- Now select “Generate OTP” from the menu.
- On their mobile phones, students will receive a six-digit OTP that is good for five minutes.
- Students are required to input their OTP number in the box that appears on the screen during the verification process.
- Each student is required to generate and verify their own password in a box that appears on the computer screen.
- A minimum of one Upper Case (Capital letter), one Lower Case (Small letter), one Digit, and one Special Character (@, $,%, etc.) must be included in the password, for example, Abcd@7618.Use the generated user name and password (the registered mobile number) to log back into the SAMS Application.
- To access the online common application form, click the “Application Form” link in the menu on the left (CAF).
- Now finish filling out all the required fields and get on with the payments.
The Common Application Form (CAF) can be submitted online up until 11:55 p.m. on August 28. Use your mobile number and email address to register if you are a new applicant. For each new application for admission, students who have previously registered must use their unique login credentials.
