New OPSC Exam Zone to Be Set Up in Jeypore, Koraput

The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has announced the establishment of a new examination zone in Jeypore, Koraput district, enhancing accessibility for candidates statewide. This addition brings the total number of zones to six, alongside Balasore, Berhampur, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, and Sambalpur.
The decision followed a January 1 meeting where Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi recommended creating a centre in Jeypore. The OPSC formalized the plan through an official notification.
This initiative aligns with the state government’s efforts to improve infrastructure and reduce travel burdens for candidates from remote regions, making exams more inclusive and accessible.
