The second round of NEET PG counselling 2023 reporting is about to end. Candidates have till September 5 to show up in person at their designated institutions. Original documents must be carried when reporting, it should be highlighted. On August 31, reporting for NEET PG round 2 counselling 2023 had begun.
On August 31, after a few of days of delay, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) announced the results of round two of counselling. Due to a legal issue, the outcome was postponed. On August 28, MCC announced the preliminary results for NEET PG counselling 2023.

Candidates had previously been given until September 2, at 6 o’clock, to resign from the seat they had been assigned in round one without losing their security deposit. This applied to applicants whose seats were not upgraded in Round 2.
Key Points:
- Candidates from Round-1 who indicated their willingness to advance by selecting “Yes” while reporting for Round-1 can do so in Round-3.
- Candidates for Round-1’s Free Exit may also participate in Round-3.
- Candidates who were recently awarded seats in Round-2 may fill choices for advancement in Round-3 by indicating their willingness as “YES” upon reporting for their Round-2 seat at the assigned college.
- Only those candidates who indicated their willingness as “YES” at the time of Round-2 reporting will be permitted to fill Round-3 options.
- Candidates from Rounds 1 and 2 who are happy with their assigned seats and do not want to be upgraded in Round 3 may not make new selections in Round 3.

Resignation after the cutoff was regarded as “Exit with Forfeiture” of fees. They can register again and take part in the subsequent round.
Counselling Process : NEET Round 3 2023
- New applicants must register completely for Round 3 on the MCC registration platform. However, candidates who signed up for Round 1 or Round 2 in the past but did not receive any seat allocations are not obliged to sign up again.
- All of the procedures following registration, including processing, result reporting, document uploading, and data verification of the designated candidates, will be the same. Even if documents are uploaded electronically, applicants must physically report to the designated institution.

- Applicants who didn’t get seats in Round 3 are now able to sign up for the round with the extra openings. Stray round registrations for PG Medical will start on September 28, while those for UG Medical will start on September 21.

NEET PG 2023: Reservation Criteria
The final seat distribution will take into account the NEET PG 2023 exam’s reservation requirements. For admission through 50% All India Quota seats, the government has approved a 27% OBC quota and a 10% EWS quota. SC, ST, and PwD candidates already have seats reserved in AIQ.
