NEET PG 2023: Round 2 Choice Filling Process Commences Today; Steps To Fill Here

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will begin the process of choosing and confirming options for the second round of NEET PG counselling today, August 19. Through the official website, mcc.nic.in, people can specify the universities and courses they want to attend.
The Supreme Court has also authorised the National Medical Commission (NMC) to extend the cutoff date for PG admissions in 2023 to October 10.
Candidates must submit their supporting paperwork by August 26 if their seats in the second round of NEET PG counselling have been assigned.
Then, between August 27 and September 4, they must physically report to the specified college or institution. The institutions will review the students’ documents on September 5 and 6.
NEET PG 2023: How to complete the choice form
Candidates can use these methods to select the colleges and courses of their choice.
- Go to mcc.nic.in to view the MCC website.
- Use the stream (medical/dental), roll number, and password to log in.
- Begin selecting your courses and colleges for the NEET PG seat allocation.
- Choose ‘+’ to add a new option.
- Drag the choice to the desired position to change the order of any choice.
- Once you’re happy with how the choices are filled up, click “save and next” to lock the selections.
- Candidates can print a copy of their completed choices for their records.
After the rounds for the All India Quota (AIQ) seats are over, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will preside over two more counselling sessions. On September 8, the third round of counselling is slated to start, and on September 28, the fourth round.
In total, 26,168 Doctor of Medicine seats, 13,649 Master of Surgery seats, 922 PG Diploma seats, and 1,338 DNB CET seats are under the management of the MCC’s NEET PG counselling procedure this year. There are 649 hospitals and 6,102 colleges participating in the process.
