NEET PG 2023 Counselling: Round 2 Registration Commences Today on mcc.nic.in, Steps to Registration

On Thursday, August 17, registration for NEET PG 2023 counselling round-2 will open. Online registration for round-2 counselling is open to candidates who did not register for round-1 counselling. On the official website, mcc.nic.in, participants can register for the second round of NEET PG counselling in 2023.
The MCC website stated, “Resignation from Round 1 seat is being provided up to 05:00 PM of 18.08.2023.” NEET PG counselling will be offered in four rounds overall in 2023, with one stray round.
The final day to withdraw from the NEET PG round 1 counselling 2023 has been moved up by one day, to August 18, according to the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The second phase of counselling registration for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test – Postgraduate (NEET PG 2023) will start today on the official website, mcc.nic.in, in accordance with the timetable.

To take part in the NEET PG 2023 seat distribution procedure, registration is required. Candidates must have a working mobile number and email address in order to register.
A login credential is generated as part of registration, and candidates must fill out an application by giving personal and academic information after that. To make an application for NEET PG 2023 counselling, a fee must be paid.
The steps for registering:
- Visit the official MCC-mcc.nic.in website.
- To access “PG Medical Counselling,” click.
- Register with a working email address and phone number.
- Make a note of the login information.
- Re-login to complete the application form.
- Add your academic and personal information.
- Before submitting the form, double-check it.
Candidates who desire to study MD, MDS, or PG medical courses must fill choices in the order of priority from August 19 to August 22 once the seat matrix is released on August 18. On August 22, they must additionally use the option locking feature from 3 PM to 11.55 PM.
On August 25, results for the NEET PG 2023 second round of allotments will be made public at mcc.nic.in. The third and final round will be open to those who were not given a place in either of the first two rounds. The third round of NEET PG registration will start on September 8.
According to discussions between the health ministry and the National Medical Commission (NMC), the National Exit Test (NExT), the test that will replace NEET PG, is expected to be held in August 2025 for the final year MBBS students of the 2020 batch.
