 Abhishek Patel 14/04/2025

The National Board of Examinations (NBEMS) has introduced a revolutionary change to the NEET MDS 2025 exam structure that every dental aspirant must know. Here’s your complete breakdown:

The New Time-Bound Format (Effective Immediately)

SectionQuestionsDurationKey Restriction
Part A100 MCQs75 mins➤ No section switching
➤ Answers locked after timeout
Part B140 MCQs105 mins➤ Auto-submits when time ends
➤ Zero backtracking

Critical Rule: The exam will automatically advance to Part B after 75 minutes – no manual control!

Why This Change?

  • Anti-cheating measure: Prevents question leakage
  • Fair assessment: Uniform time for all candidates
  • NBEMS mandate: Now applies to ALL medical PG exams (NEET-PG, FMGE etc.)

Must-Try Demo Test

NBEMS has activated a full-length mock test mirroring the new format:

  • Live since: April 9, 2025
  • Pro Tip: Practice with a timer to simulate real conditions

What This Means for You

  1. Speed matters more: 45 seconds per question in Part A
  2. No second chances: Can’t revisit earlier answers
  3. New strategy needed: Prioritize high-yield topics first

Mark These Dates

  • Admit Cards: Out Now (Download before April 18)
  • Exam Day: April 19, 2025 (2 PM – 5 PM)
  • Results: Expected May 19, 2025

Last-Minute Prep Tips:
