ALIGARH : Mr Ashraf Mateen, Associate Professor, Department of Petroleum Studies, Z.H. College of Engineering and Technology, Aligarh Muslim University has been appointed Chairman of the department for three years with effect from January 9, 2025.
Mr Mateen has been engaged in teaching and research for over the last 24 years. He has published more than 25 research papers in the journals of repute.
He has completed two research projects and is working on another two projects on “Development of an environment friendly re-refining technology of Used Lubricating Oil” and “Development of know-how for solvent recovery under supercritical conditions in PDA Technology”.
He prepared a technical report related to “Studies on the effect of soaker internals (Phase I)” for Centre for High Technology, New Delhi.
