The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) has released the MPBSE Class 5th and 8th Result 2025. students who are not satisfied with their marks may apply for “re-evaluation” and Rechecking. This will allow students to verify that the answer sheets they received have been fairly checked and request a re-evaluation of their marks should they find any errors.

Difference Between Re-evaluation & Rechecking
Re-evaluation: An expert in the subject will “re-evaluate” all answersto look for mistakes in marking or missing answers.
Rechecking: Officials will check if all answers are correctly marked, and should there be any error in the totaling of marks.
Eligibility for Re-evaluation & Rechecking
The students who satisfy the following requirements are eligible to apply:
Feel that their marks are less than what they would have expected even though they have attempted all the questions.
People who believe that some of their claims were not checked.
Students who notice discrepancies in their marking sheets (e.g. missing marksheets or marks that are incorrect).
How to Apply for MP Board Class 5th & 8th Re-evaluation/Rechecking?
Step 1: Visit the Official Website
- Go to the official MP Board website: rskmp.in or the respective district education portal.
Step 2: Find the Re-evaluation/Rechecking Link
- Look for the “Re-evaluation/Rechecking 2025” section on the homepage.
Step 3: Fill Out the Application Form
- Enter your roll number, name, subject(s) for rechecking, and other required details.
Step 4: Pay the Processing Fee
- A nominal fee per subject will be charged. Payment can be made online via UPI, net banking, or debit/credit card.
Step 5: Submit & Save the Application
After submitting, download the confirmation receipt for future reference.
Important Dates for MP Board Re-evaluation/Rechecking 2025
Application Start Date: To be announced within a week of the announcement of results
Last Date to Apply generally 15-20 days following the result announcement
Re-evaluation Date for Results typically released within one month
What Happens After You Apply?
The board will recheck/re-evaluate your answer sheet.
If errors are found, marks will be updated, and a new mark sheet will be issued.
If no errors are found, the original marks remain unchanged.
Things to Remember
- Re-evaluation does not guarantee an increase in marks.
- Marks can increase, decrease, or remain unchanged.
- No further appeals can be made once the re-evaluation results are declared.
