Last Day for IGNOU Admission 2023: Fresh and Re-Registration for July Session Closes Today

Today, September 20, the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will end the opportunity for new enrollment and re-registration with a late charge for the July session 2023. The application form and re-registration information for previous semester candidates are available on the university’s official website, ignou.ac.in, for eligible students who have not yet applied for admission to one of the many degrees it offers.
Previously, the Registration Deadline was September 10.
On many websites, the university contains the links for new admission and re-registration. In the event of a new admission, applicants must register for Open and Distance Learning (ODL) programmes at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in and submit an application for online courses at ignouiop.samarth.edu.in.
While the official website, onlinerr.ignou.ac.in, will provide a link for re-registering for the July session. A late registration fee of Rs 200 will be charged to applicants.

Instruction to Fill: Application Form Online
- If you are a first-time candidate, it is advisable that you visit the Available Programmes button on the Online Admission System site, choose the desired course, and carefully review the program’s features, such as eligibility requirements, cost information, duration, etc.
Additionally, you are urged to download the Common Prospectus and thoroughly study the Rules of the University as outlined there.
- In the applicant login section, select the NEW REGISTRATION option and fill out the necessary registration information.
- Keep in mind that your user name must contain between 8 and 16 characters.
- Your password must be between 8 and 16 characters long and contain alphanumeric characters.
- Click “SUBMIT” after filling out the required fields.
- You’ll receive your login right away via email and SMS.
3. For future logins, keep your Username and Password handy.
4. Click the “LOGIN” button if you have already registered, or if you are an existing user.
5. The candidate must have the following before filling out the online form:-
- Photo that has been scanned (less than 100 KB)
- Signature that has been scanned (under 100 KB)
- Relevant educational credentials, scanned (less than 200 KB),
- If applicable, a scanned copy of the experience certificate (less than 200 KB)
- If SC/ST/OBC, a scanned copy of the category certificate (less than 200 KB)
6. The following ways are available for paying fees:
- Mastercard or Visa credit cards
- (Master, Visa, Rupay) Debit Card
- Online Banking
7. Documents from your originals must be scanned. When you click the next button after uploading the document, the opportunity to see the form will appear. Your form should be saved or printed for future use.
8. Please enter the information accurately. Please ensure that all information is entered accurately and that all required documents are uploaded in the right order if you are filling out your form utilising a cybercafe’s services.
How to Fill: IGNOU Re-Registration Form 2023?
- Go to the official website to re-register.
- After reading the whole set of instructions, press the ‘Proceed for Registration’ button.
- Use your registration number and password to log in.
- Choose the appropriate programme and fill out the details.
- Make the required payment.
- Check the information provided, then print the re-registration form.
For Admission, Applicants will need the Following Paperwork
- Scanned photograph
- Signature
- Copy of age proof,
- Relevant educational qualification certificates,
- Experience certificate,
- Category certificate (if any) and BPL certificate (if any)
Steps to fill IGNOU Fresh Admission form 2023?

- “Click here for new registration” should be clicked.
- Candidates will be sent to a different website.
- Complete the registration information.
- Use the generated login credentials to log in and complete the application form.
- Upload the required files, then pay the cost.
- Take a screenshot of the confirmation page after submitting the application form.
Registration Fee, Admission Cancellation, and Fee Refund
- At the time of admission, a non-refundable Registration price will be added to the first semester/year’s programme price.
- If a student requests to revoke their application or admission and get a fee refund, the university will take into account their request in accordance with the following guidelines:
- Before admittance is officially confirmed, the entire programme cost paid will be reimbursed.
Following Admissions Confirmation
- After deducting Rs. 500, the programme fee paid will be returned within 15 days following admission confirmation.
- 16 to 90 days after admittance is confirmed: Programme The amount of the fee will be returned less a deduction of Rs. 1000.
- After 90 days from the admissions confirmation date, there will be no refunds granted
