What is KLEE?
Kerala Law Entrance Exam (KLEE) is an entrance exam used to determine government merit seats in private self-financing law colleges as well as admission to government law colleges. Three-year LLB, five-year LLB, and LLM programmes in law are offered through KLEE. The KLEE centralised allotment process (CAP) for the distribution of seats in law institutions is open to applicants who pass the exam. In Kerala, there are approximately 20 private self-financing law colleges and 4 law colleges that take part in CAP.
At several test centres throughout the state of Kerala, the exam is administered using a computer-based test style. There are 200 MCQ-style questions in the KLEE exam. The exam lasts two hours and carries a total of 600 points. Exams are held separately for the 3 year, 5 year, and LLM programmes in law.
