On the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in, the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has published the answer keys for the Karnataka PGCET MBA, MCA, and MTech (Architecture Engineering).

Each right response will earn a student one mark in the Karnataka postgraduate (PG) Common Entrance Test (PGCET) for the MBA. For each accurate response in Part A of the PGCET MCA (60 questions), students will receive one mark, and for Part B (20 questions), they will receive two marks apiece.

Marking Scheme: PGCET

One point will be given for each accurate response in Part A (50 questions) and two marks for each accurate response in Part B (25 questions) of the PGCET MTech exam. In any of the exams, there won’t be any negative grading.

The PGCET final answer will be made available by the KEA soon, after which the merit list and rank list will be published. For applicants who have legitimate Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2022) results, the KEA will create a distinct merit list. The merits of the candidates will be decided based on their performance in the Karnataka PGCET and/or GATE test.

Karnataka PGCET: Full-Time MBA Eligibility Requirements

  • A three-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, or its equivalent, is required of applicants.
  • The minimum passing scores for the bachelor’s degree test are shown below based on the candidate’s socioeconomic status.
  • Unreserved Candidates 50% overall grade
  • Karnataka’s Category-I, SC, ST, and Candidates: a combined score of 45%

Karnataka PGCET: Part-Time MBA Eligibility Requirements

  • Candidates for a full-time MBA programme must also meet the Karnataka PGCET eligibility requirements and have at least three years of work experience as of July 31, 2023.
  • The candidate’s place of business or residence must be less than 40 radial kilometres from the institution where admission is sought.

  • Print out of Karnataka PGCET 2023 application form
  • Candidates’ copy of fee challan
  • Admit card
  • Class 10 and 12 marksheet
  • Marksheet of qualifying degree for all years/semesters
  • Degree certificate
  • Study certificate signed by BEO (for Karnataka candidates)
  • GATE score card (if applicable)
  • Category certificate, if applicable
  • Certificate issued by the concerned assistant commissioner for candidates claiming Hyderabad-Karnataka region reservation (if applicable)

Karnataka PGCET: What is it?
