The Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test 2025 for Class 6 Phase 1 was conducted on 18 January 2025, its Phase 2 is proposed to be held on 12 April 2025, after which the result will be announced on the official website. It is expected that the result will be available on the official website by the last week of May 2025.
Students who want to get admission in various JNVs for class 6 have appeared in the exam and all those candidates are now eagerly waiting for the release of the result. Students are informed that the result will be released in the form of a scorecard, by downloading which aspirants will be able to check qualifying status and the obtained marks.
The exam conducted on 18th January 2025 was conducted in offline mode through OMR sheet, the evaluation process of which is going to take about 6 weeks but the result will be declared only after the Phase 2 exam is over. How to check the JNVST 2025 Result for Class 6
The complete step-by-step instructions to download and check the result for the JNVST 2025 Class 6 is available below. After the release of the result, you will be able to check it by going through the listed points.
- Go to the official website of the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti at https://navodaya.gov.in/.
- Under the Section of Student Corner, an option that reads ‘Result for JNVST 2025 Class 6 (Phase 1 & Phase 2),’ will be visible, tap on it.
- At the end, you have to enter your Roll Number and Date Of Birth, and hit the Submit button to check the result.
Selection List
Those who have just appeared for the JNVST 2025 for Class 6 can know that after the release of the result in the form of scorecard, the selection list will be made available, which will contain the roll number of shortlisted candidates. The list will be prepared considering the number of seats, reservation and other criteria of the selection process.

Cut Off Marks

Reservation
Out of total seats in the Jawaharlal Navodaya Vidyalayas, 75% are reserved for Rural areas, and the remaining 25% are for Urban students. Category-wise reservation is also applicable, whose details are as follows:
- UR (Unreserved)/EWS (Economically Weaker Section): 50% (including 10% for EWS)
- OBC (Other Backward Classes – Non-Creamy Layer): 27%
- SC (Scheduled Castes): 15%
- ST (Scheduled Tribes): 7.5%
Additionally, there is a horizontal reservation of 33% for female students and 3% for persons with Benchmark Disability.
