JNU to Start Document Verification for DOP Programme On August 31

On August 31, the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) will begin the physical verification of students chosen for the diploma of proficiency (DOP) course.
On August 21, the JNU released the DOP program’s merit list. In the languages of Bhasha Indonesia, Hebrew, Mongolian, Uzbek, and Pali, the university offers a diploma of competence (DOP).
On July 27, the admissions procedure began. Before September 15, the chosen students must successfully pass the physical verification process; after that, lessons will begin. According to the JNU, admissions are based on performance on the certificate of language competency.
Candidates must present their Class 12 or equivalent certificate, which attests to their overall grade point average, which must be at least 45%. Additionally, they must present a certificate proving their language proficiency or pass an exam deemed equivalent.
Candidates who earned their qualification using a different educational model than Class 12 will need to present their first-year Bachelor’s degree examination mark sheet. They should have received at least 45% of the possible points.
On August 21, the JNU began pre-enrollment registration and fee collection for DOP programmes. August 23 saw the closing of the window.
South-East Asian Studies offers the DOP degree in Bahasa Indonesia, while the Centre for Korean Studies and the Centre for Arabic and African Studies offer the DOP in Mongolian and Hebrew. The Centre of Persian and Central Asian Studies offers DOP in Uzbek.
