- Medical Departments: A recognized postgraduate degree (MD/MS/DNB) in the respective discipline.
- Pulmonary Medicine: Candidates with D.M. in Pulmonary Medicine may apply.

- Neurology (Epilepsy): Candidates with D.M / DNB in Neurology or MD/ DNB in General Medicine / Paediatrics /Psychiatry
