Jharkhand Government Schools likely to take 10,500 students in their 80 schools;

Hemant Soren Government announced to give admission to a total no. of 10,590 candidates out of 41, 000 students in their 80 government-run schools. This initiative came to light in the view of academic reform and to provide quality English education par with that of private schools in Jharkhand.
“A total of 10,590 students were announced successfully against the 11,936 available seats for admissions to Schools of Excellence (SoEs). Out of them, 7,499 have got admissions to classes one, six, and nine,” a statement from the CM’s Secretariat said on Monday.
The government planned to establish as many as 325 block-level schools. It has mentioned about 4,091-gram panchayat-level model schools would be made in the second phase of educational reforms.
Earlier, in May, Hemant Soren, CM of Jharkhand had inaugurated 80 -a run-school of excellence. The students will be given vocational training for 11 trades in these 80 government-run schools of excellence. The Vocational training includes agriculture, IT, ITES, apparel and make-up and home furnishing, media and entertainment, automotive, tourism and hospitality, beauty and wellness, multi-skilling, electronics and hardware, retail, and healthcare.
