School bus overturns: 30 children injured & staffer dead in Rajasthan
On Wednesday, a school bus toppled in Rajasthan’s Jaisalmer area, killing one person and injuring about 30 pupils, according to the police. Police mentioned, “that the accident happened close to Pokhran town when the bus was transporting the pupils to their school.”
Kailash Chand, an assistant sub-inspector (ASI) at the Sankra police station in Jaisalmer, claimed that the driver had lost control of the car and it had turned over. Many of the hurt kids, according to him, were taken by ambulance to a hospital in Jaipur, while others were admitted to a nearby hospital.
Chand stated that some other children’s parents had taken them to private hospitals. “The students are between the ages of 10-15. The bus driver was hurt in the collision as well, he continued. 11 pupils from Jaisalmer were transferred to Jodhpur for treatment, and all of them were claimed to be in a safe place, according to Jodhpur Collector Himanshu Gupta. However, a staff member named Vikram Singh died on the spot.
