- Candidates who have failed twice in the first year due to any reason (either due to their absence or failure to appear in the semester examinations) will not be allowed to continue their studies. As long as a student wishes to continue for a third time in the first year, he may be allowed this on the terms and conditions determined by the University, but the maximum time allowed for completion of the course is still in clause.
- Students who wish to temporarily discontinue the program and continue later must seek permission from the Registrar of the University before they can do so. An affected student must reapply in the same semester from which he/she stopped. The student will, however, be required to complete the program according to Section 6.2.
