IIT Kanpur celebrates Kanpur Platinum Jubilee at the Air Force Station Kanpur. Also, IIT Kanpur proudly unveiled a groundbreaking advancement in UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) technology during the 1 Base Repair Depot (BRD). The event was successfully graced by the presence of esteemed Indian Air Force officers
About UAV Technology:
UAV full form is an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle which is a military aircraft guided autonomously by remote control or both. This Aircraft can fly without a human pilot or passengers but is controlled through remote. Hence, they are also known as drones. Also, it carries the following things which are mentioned below:

- Target designators
- Offensive ordnance
- Electronic transmitters are designed to interfere with or destroy enemy targets.
