In an unprecedented move, The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM-A) will be going global with it’s the first offshore campus located in Dubai, UAE. This has also been approved by the Union Ministry of Education which is a great step in moving forward with India’s expansion in the higher education sector.

According to Information Ministry officials, India’s Dubai Outpost will set the pace for other IIMs and IITs in future, building on the groundwork constructed by IIM Ahmedabad.
“These measures are part of India’s National Education Policy 2020 that fosters the idea of internationalizing educational institutions,” said one senior official associated with the initiative.
