ICSI CSEET 2023: Exam will take place today for candidates affected by technical issues; check the guidelines

Today, August 1, the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) is holding a retest for the Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) 2023. Candidates who were unable to take the exam on July 30 due to technological difficulties will be given the opportunity to retake it.
Four times a year, remote proctoring is used to administer the CSEET. The CSEET test is not required for candidates who have passed the CS Foundation exam, the ICAI CA final course, or the ICMAI CMA final course.
The CSEET 2023 admission card, which is necessary for remote verification, can be downloaded by candidates from the official website, icsi.edu.
Each candidate has received a separate email or SMS with the CSEET 2023 batch timings, user ID, and password from ICSI. Candidates must use the provided credentials to take the retest.
Instructions on the exam day: CSEET 2023
- Using a personal desktop or laptop computer, you can take the CSEET entrance exam from home or a remote location.
- To ensure ethical behaviour, there will be ongoing video or audio surveillance by a supervisor.
- For remote verification, candidates must keep their admit card and a valid identity card (such as a passport, driving licence, PAN card, or voter ID).
- Prior to the exam, candidates should download, install, and test the secure exam browser (SEBLite) on a desktop or laptop.
- Hotspots and mobile internet should be avoided in favour of a reliable internet connection.
CSEET : Eligibility Criteria
Now Except for a few exempted categories, CSEET will be a requirement for all student categories to register for the Executive Programme.
The applicant’s age must be lower than 17 at the time of application.
Candidates must have completed Class 12 in order to qualify for CSEET.
Graduate/Post Graduate candidates who were qualified for direct registration to the Executive Programme must additionally pass CSEET in order to be qualified for Executive Programme registration.
