Hands-On Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) Training Equips Students with Practical Skills



Aligarh: The Department of Moalejat, Faculty of Unani Medicine, AMU, organized a hands-on training session on Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) under the supervision of Professor Badrudduja Khan and Dr. Jamal Azmat. Held in the CPR Lab at Ajmal Khan Tibbiya College, the session featured Mr. Pankaj Sharma from Lupin Respira, who explained the working of the PFT machine. Students gained practical experience by performing tests on patients, enhancing their diagnostic skills in respiratory care.
The event also witnessed the participation of Dr. S. Javed Ali, Assistant Professor, along with Mr. Ahmer Meraj and Mr. Arif, who facilitated the program. Professor Badrudduja Khan emphasized the importance of hands-on training in modern Unani medical education, bridging theoretical knowledge with practical applications. This initiative is an exercise department’s commitment to advancing Unani medicine through skill development and practical exposure.
