DU 2023: BTech 1st seat allotment result declared at engineering.uod.ac.in

The initial allocation list for admission to BTech programmes has been made public by the University of Delhi (DU) today. The allotment status for applicants who submitted registration forms for DU BTech admission in 2023 may be found at engineering.uod.ac.in.
An official statement from the university reads, ” Inactivity or no-action will be taken as non-acceptance to the allocated seat. It will be treated as a decline to the provisionally allocated seats and the candidate will no longer be able to participate in subsequent rounds.”
Between August 3 and August 9, candidates must appear at the Faculty of Technology for a physical document verification. On August 11, the window for seat upgrades against the DU BTech first seat allocation will become available.
The all-India common rank list (CRL) of the JEE Main 2023 exam serves as the basis for the DU BTech first allotment list for admission to the academic session 2023.
The candidates that received seats in round 1 must “Accept” the seat before the deadline in order to prevent the revocation of the allocation, and they must also have their documentation validated.
The required admission confirmation fee for the designated seat is Rs 100,000. Candidates must pay this upon receiving the university’s clearance following the verification process.
Only after successfully paying the admission confirmation fee will the DU BTech admission be confirmed.
The institution provides BTech degrees in electrical engineering, electronic and communication engineering, and computer science and engineering (CSE). Each programme has a total of 120 seats available.
The university’s criteria, which include programme merit, the candidate’s category (UR, OBC, SC, ST, or EWS), and the number of seats available, will be taken into consideration when deciding which candidate will have the highest preference.
