Delhi University: Admission to BTech program’s 1st allotment list will be out today

Today, August 2, the University of Delhi (DU) will probably release the first allocation list for admission to BTech. The institution provides three Btech degrees in electrical engineering, electronic and communication engineering, and computer science and engineering.

Candidates who submitted an application for BTech admission to DU can check the status of their allotment today at engineering.uod.ac.in.

The university will use the JEE Main 2023 exam’s all-India common rank list (CRL) to generate the initial allocation list for BTech admission in 2023.

There are 120 seats available in each of the BTech programmes, according to a university release. According to programme merit, category (UR, OBC, NCL, SC, ST, and EWS), and seat availability, the institution will assign seats in the order of highest preference.

Candidates who are happy with the DU round-1 merit list will be required to submit their acceptance to the assigned seats within the specified date and time once the first phase allotment list for BTech admissions is released today. The university will check and approve the applications after acceptance submission. For students who want to improve their seats, DU will also offer an upgrade opportunity.

On Tuesday, August 1, the university released the UG CSAS first merit list. The combination of programmes and colleges chosen by applicants during the DU preference filling phase served as the basis for the creation of the DU admission CSAS list.

 With the majority of seats filled by students from the CBSE board and the southern state boards completely absent, a total of 85,853 allocations were made in the first DU CSAS round itself.
