Delhi University 2023 Declares DU UG, PG, BTech Admission Last Dates; 120 Seats for B.Tech

On October 14, Delhi University (DU) will end admission for DU BTech admission. The DU UG admission 2023 and DU PG admission 2023 applications will be closed on September 30 and October 14, respectively.

DU has 120 seats available in the BTech (Computer Science and Engineering), BTech (Electronics and Communication Engineering), and BTech (Electrical Engineering) programmes. Candidates Students who have passed the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains 2023 are eligible for BTech studies at the University of Delhi’s Faculty of Technology. For the BTech admission procedure, the institution will use the All India Common Rank List (CRL) of the JEE (Mains) 2023.

Candidates can apply for DU BTech admission through the CSAS portal at engineering.uod.ac.in. Unreserved, other backward classes – non creamy layer (OBC-NCL), and economically weaker sections (EWS) candidates must pay a Rs 1,500 registration fee. Students from the scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), and people with benchmark disability (PwBD) must pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs 1,200. Candidates who have previously registered will not be required to apply again.

DU UG 2023 Special Spot Round

Today, at 5 p.m., the DU will announce the final seat allotment outcome of the special spot round 2023. Candidates who applied for the DU UG admission special round will be able to examine the results at admission.uod.ac.in. Interestingly, even after four rounds of DU UG counselling 2023, more than 5,000 seats remain empty in more than 60 DU colleges. There are 1,557 seats available in the unreserved category, 1,310 in the OBC category, 1,919 in the SC and ST categories, and 967 in the EWS category.

How to Apply for DU BTech Admission

• Engineering.uod.ac.in is the Delhi University CSAS portal.
• Select the Register for Undergraduate Admission link.
• To generate a password, provide basic information such as your name and email address.
• From the dashboard, choose the unique place round entrance.
• Fill in the blanks with your preferred courses and colleges.
• Examine the application and submit it.

DU Admission Process 2023

The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) test is used to determine admission to UG programmes at Delhi University. Furthermore, beginning in 2023-2024, DU admission to PG programmes will be through CUET-PG. Aspirants who want to apply for DU admission 2023 at more than 90 DU-affiliated/ constituent colleges must register for and take the CUET tests.

Those who pass the entrance test can next register for seat allocation using Delhi University’s Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS). Seat distribution is done in numerous rounds and is dependent on multiple parameters such as the combination of college and selected course, the candidate’s place in the merit list, the candidate’s category (SC/ ST/ OBC/ EWS/ UR), and the availability of seats.
