Delhi Nursery Admissions 2025-26: First Draw Selects 1,307 Children with Special Needs

Table of Contents
The Directorate of Education (DoE) in Delhi has announced the results of the first computerized draw for nursery, kindergarten, and Class 1 admissions in private schools for the academic session 2025-26. A total of 1,307 Children With Special Needs (CWSN) have been selected in this initial round.
Notifications to Selected Families
The DoE has stated that families of the selected children will receive messages detailing their allotted schools and the venues for document verification. It’s crucial for parents to follow these instructions promptly to ensure a smooth admission process.
No Changes to School Allotments
Once a school has been allotted to a child, the DoE has made it clear that changes will not be entertained under any circumstances. Parents are advised to accept the assigned schools and proceed with the necessary formalities.
Document Verification Process
During the verification process, if any submitted documents are found to be fake, forged, or insufficient, the admission will be canceled. Parents must ensure that all required documents are authentic and complete to avoid any complications.
Deadline for Contacting Allotted Schools
Selected students must contact their allotted schools by May 26 to complete the admission process. Timely action is essential to secure the admission and finalize all related procedures.
Addressing Document Deficiencies
In cases where discrepancies or deficiencies are found in the submitted documents, candidates will be issued a ‘deficiency memo.’ They will have until April 11 to provide valid or updated documents to confirm their eligibility. This step ensures that all admissions are granted based on accurate and verified information.
The DoE’s initiative aims to integrate Children With Special Needs into mainstream education, promoting inclusivity and equal opportunities for all students.
