On July 20, the National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the CUET PG 2023 results on cuet.nta.nic.in, its official website. CUET PG participating colleges, such as Jamia Millia Islamia, Calicut University, Sikkim University, Allahabad University, Central University of Tamil Nadu, HPU, and others will now begin accepting applications for PG admission for the 2023–24 academic session with the announcement of CUET PG results.

The CUET PG merit list and the CUET PG qualifying marks are not created by NTA in any way. The schools and universities who are participating will create their own merit list and cut-off.

In CUET PG 2023, each participating university decides the minimum qualifying marks for their respective courses.

The universities take into consideration various factors such as the difficulty level of the exam, the number of seats available and the overall performance of the candidates to determine the cutoff marks. The minimum qualifying marks may vary from one university to another and from one course to another.

Candidates will be shortlisted based on the cut-off scores for subsequent steps of the admissions process, such as counselling and seat assignment. Candidates will be entitled to participate in the succeeding rounds of admission if they achieve or above the minimum qualifying marks established by the universities.

For admission, 197 colleges will accept the CUET PG score. The overall number of universities consists of 103 private and deemed universities, 39 central universities, 45 state government universities, 10 government institutes, and 10 other institutions. These colleges provide candidates with many chances for advanced study and specialisation by offering a wide variety of postgraduate courses.

Students will be chosen and admitted to universities and colleges based on their ability to meet the admission requirements, their eligibility, their position on the merit list, their medical fitness, the authenticity of their original documents, and any additional requirements that the university they are applying to may impose.

More than half of the pupils who registered for the test this year did not take it. The general (MBA) programme garnered the most registrations out of all the different programmes. However, the general course had the greatest number of applicants who actually showed up for the exam.

“Admissions are handled at the level of the Central and Participating Universities for their respective programmes,” the CUET PG information booklet states. The respective Universities will announce the counseling/admission schedule and merit list based on the CUET (PG) – 2023 score and the other criteria of the relevant University once the NTA announces the CUET (PG) – 2023 result.
