CSEET 2023: ICSI will conduct a new test tomorrow as candidates impacted by technical issues

Tomorrow, August 1, the Indian Institute of Company Secretaries (ICSI) will conduct a retest for the Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) 2023. Candidates who were unable to appear for the exam on July 30 due to technological difficulties will take it again.
ICSI said in an official notice, “It has been noticed that due to some technical issues, some candidates could not successfully appear in the CSEET which was held Sunday, 30th July 2023 through Remote Proctored mode. To facilitate such candidates, the Institute is giving one more chance to appear in the same. Re-test will be conducted on Tuesday, 1st AUGUST 2023.”
Each candidate will receive a separate email or SMS message from ICSI with the batch timings, user ID, and password for CSEET 2023. Candidates must use the credentials that were supplied to them to take the retest.
The organisation advised applicants to visit the official website, icsi.edu, and download their CSEET 2023 admission card as well as the candidate guidelines. Before taking the exam, candidates are urged to thoroughly read the guidelines.
ICSI added, “Also download the most recent Safe Exam Browser (SEB) version that is required in advance on your laptop or desktop from which you will be taking the CSEET exam.
On the official website, candidates can review the SEB download procedure. The CSEET 2023 exam will consist of four exams, each with 35 questions. Each section will receive 50 marks out of a possible 200 for the exam.

CSEET 2023 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility requirements for the CSEET 2023 have been made public on ICSI’s official website.
Candidates must meet the eligibility requirements in order to sit for the exam. The following requirements for CSEET Eligibility 2023 must be met:
- candidate taking the Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2 exam) or a comparable test
- candidate who has successfully completed the Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 Exam) or an examination of equal standing
