Call to Revise SSC CGL 2023 Results as Number of Qualified Candidates Hits a Record Low

Candidates who took the Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level (SSC CGL) 2023 test are asking for amended results since many fewer people than in recent years qualified for the main exam.
The applicants claimed that despite there being more openings, the commission only summoned a smaller number of applicants.
The second exam was open to 71,112 pupils this year. Some applicants posted a comparison of the number of eligible applicants throughout the years and said that just 8.4 times of the openings have been picked for the SSC CGL Tier 2 test, while candidates used to qualify for the mains exam 12 to 15 times. According to applicants, more than 1 lakh individuals have qualified for the main test in recent years.
On September 19, SSC CGL Tier 1 results 2023 for the preliminary test taken from July 14 to July 27 were released. For the positions of assistant audit officer and assistant accounting officer, 4,377 applicants were shortlisted.
Both 3,140 and 3,123 candidates for statistical investigator were chosen. All other positions saw the selection of 71,112 applicants.
Candidates who passed the preliminary examination will show up for the SSC CGL tier 2 test 2023, which is scheduled for October 25–October 27. “Believe it or not, but we are suffering a lot due to the unfair result given by SSC,” a candidate said in a post.
For some of us, it was our final attempt, and despite our best efforts to prepare, we failed simply because the outcome was unjust.
