CA Foundation Exam 2023 Rescheduled ; Exam to be held from December 31

Exam dates for the CA Foundation in 2023 have been postponed by the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAI). Exams for the CA Foundation for December 2023 will now take place on December 31, January 2, and January 4, 2024.
The CA intermediate and final exams, however, will take place on schedule in 2023. Exams for CA Intermediate 2023 will be administered on November 2, 4, 6, and 8 for group 1 and on November 10, 13, and 15 for group 2. The institution has scheduled the CA Final exams for groups 1 and 2 for November 1, 3, and 5 and November 9, 11, and 16 respectively.
The ICAI official website reads, “Due to unavoidable circumstances, ICAI Foundation Course Examinations – December 2023 have been re-scheduled to 31st December 2023, 2nd, 4th and 6th January 2024 in place of 24th, 26th, 28th and 30th December 2023.”
On the official website, icai.org, the CA Foundation registration procedure has already started. August 23 is the last day to submit an application for the ICAI CA examinations 2023.
Exam days: Guidelines
- A valid government-issued ID card and a physical copy of the CA admission card 2023 should be carried.
- Arrive at the testing location at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time.
- Prior to the start of the exam, candidates will have fifteen minutes to read.
- Before the test is finished, candidates are not permitted to leave the examination room.
- Each candidate must sign their name and roll number in the corresponding column on the attendance forms.
- Inside the exam centre, candidates are not permitted to bring any forbidden goods such books, writing supplies, smart watches, mobile phones, or other electronic devices.
August 30 is the deadline for submitting the online CA application form with the late charge of Rs 600. From September 1 to 7, candidates who have finished the CA Foundation, inter, and final test forms may update their applications as necessary.
According to the most recent notification from the ICAI, students who passed either of the groups of intermediate exams under the previous plan will be able to choose three years of practical training as soon as September 30.
