“Blitzschlag 2025: MNIT Jaipur’s Cultural Fest Set to Dazzle with ‘Dreamscape’ Theme”


Blitzschlag, the annual cultural extravaganza of Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT) Jaipur, will take place from February 7th to 9th, 2025, and promises to deliver an unparalleled experience. Under the guidance of Prof. N.P. Padhy, Director of MNIT Jaipur, Blitzschlag’25 is all set to reflect the vibrant spirit and celebrate talent, enthusiasm and cultural brilliance from across the nation.
Prof. Kanupriya Sachdev, Dean of Student Welfare, expressed great enthusiasm about the diverse and energetic performances, multiple events and varied experiences that Blitzschlag promises to deliver. Blitzschlag is known for its grandeur and energy, and attracts an audience of over 50,000, making it one of the largest student-organized festivals in the region. The fest serves as a melting pot of cultures, talent, and creativity, bringing together participants from more than 100 colleges across India, with notable representation from cities such as Jaipur, Delhi, Nagpur, Chandigarh and Surat for an unforgettable three-day celebration.
The events lined up include preliminary rounds for flagship competitions like Battle of Bands, Ramba Samba, Sonic Showdown, PANACHE, Blitz Idol and Solo Dance Showdown. These events have set the tone for the festival, generating buzz and excitement among participants and spectators alike.
Blitzschlag 2025 will host over 100 competitions spanning diverse genres, offering cash prizes worth INR 25 lakhs. From literary arts to music, dance, and dramatics, the fest provides a platform for aspiring talent to showcase their skills and creativity. Additionally, this year’s theme, “DREAMSCAPE”: Stranded Beyond Reality, aims to inspire participants to explore new dimensions of innovation and artistry.
The fest’s Social Responsibility Drive focuses on environmental sustainability. Through initiatives like Plant for the Future, Eco-Art Installations, and Green Athon, Blitzschlag underscores the importance of collective action for a better tomorrow.
