Bihar NEET UG Counselling 2023: Schedule for Round 2 Released; Choice-Filling Begins on September 4

The schedule for the Bihar NEET UG counselling second round of 2023 has been made public by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB). In light of this, the choice-filling process for Round 2 of Under Graduate Medical Admission Counselling (UGMAC) will start on September 4 on the official website, bceceboard.bihar.gov.in.
The board advised candidates who had selected for round 1 admission or an upgrade and had their documents confirmed at the reporting centre that they could go for free between August 31 and September 1.
Such students must use the counselling site, log in, and select the free exit link. These candidates’ selections will be deemed invalid, and they will have to make new selections in round 2.

Candidates who were given a seat in round 1 but were unable to have their documents confirmed would automatically be eliminated. September 7 is the last day to submit choices for the second round of counseling.
On September 11, the second round’s provisional seat allocation will be announced. From September 11 to September 14, candidates can download the letters.
Procedure : Selection & Admission
Counselling has begun in the state following the release of the NEET results.
- Registration on the counselling website is required in order to engage in the counselling.
- After paying the online counselling charge, registration is possible.
- Counselling Online registration is available.
- Candidates are able to fill out their college preferences after paying the counselling charge.
- The candidates are assigned seats based on the choices they have selected and their ranking.
- Candidates must download the allotment letter after the seat allocation and report to the designated colleges for final admission.
- At the time of reporting, candidates are recommended to bring both the requisite original documents and photocopies.
Reservation Criteria:
At the time of counselling, candidates who assert they belong to a reserved category must present the appropriate supporting documentation. The following are the Bihar state’s reservation requirements for several categories:
Schedule Caste (SC): 16%
Schedule Tribe (ST): 1%
Extremely Backward Class (EBC): 18%
Backward Class (BC): 12%
Reserve Category Girls (RCG): 3%
Unreserved Seats for Open Merit List: 50%

On the day of the document verification process, candidates must provide the above documents in their original forms in order to be assigned a seat.
