The third phase of Assam NEET PG counselling 2023 has been changed by the Director of Medical Education, and additional open seats have been added to the seat matrix. As a consequence, the results of the third round of seat allocation will be made public on the official website, dme.assam.gov.in, tomorrow, October 6.
Following the inclusion of empty seats in the state National Eligibility Entrance Test for Postgraduate Counselling, candidates had until October 4 to make their online selections.

The seat distribution was initially planned to be made public today, October 5. The online choice-filling process started on September 30 and ended on October 1. On October 1, choice-locking was accessible from 4 pm until 11:55 pm.

Assam PG Medical 2023: Admission Criteria
According to the NEET PG results, the regulatory authorities will admit students to the following Assam PG medical programmes.
- MCC provides counselling based on the results of the NEET PG in order to fill 50% of the All India Quota seats.
- Based on state merit rank generated from NEET PG 2023 results, DME will fill the remaining 50% of the state quota seats in Assam.
- NEET PG results will be used by admission regulating agencies to decide admission to all MD, MS, and PG Diploma seats at private universities.
- On behalf of MCC, the DGHS will undertake counselling for admission to PG medical programmes at deemed/central institutions.

Assam PG Medical Admission 2023: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must check the eligibility standards in order to determine their eligibility for the Assam PG medical in 2023. Here are the listed minimal requirements for the Assam PG medical programme in 2023.
- Candidates must be state residents and dwell there permanently.
- Academic requirements: MBBS/BDS provisional or pass certificates from a college or institution recognised by the National Medical Commission are required of applicants.
- Internship completion: Medical graduates who have finished rotating internships of 12 months by March 31, 2023, are eligible to apply for Assam PG medical admission.
- Registration: The NMC or State Medical Council (SMC) must provide a registration certificate.
- Candidates must meet the NEET PG cutoff percentile of 2023 in order to be eligible to take the computer-based admission exam.
Admission to DME Assam NEET PG in 2023: Documents Needed
The following papers must be submitted with the application for admission. Admission will not be given if any needed documents are not submitted. In addition to the originals, photocopies should be brought.
