AMU VC releases the annual magazine of Faculty of Theology

ALIGARH: The Aligarh Muslim University Vice Chancellor, Prof Naima Khatoon today released the annual magazine of the Faculty of Theology, Darasat-e-Diniya, which is a special number on the contributions of former Deans of the Faculty.
Addressing the occasion, Prof Khatoon appreciated the hard work the editorial board has put in to bring out a commemorative issue on the life and contributions of former Deans, including the stalwarts of the field like Prof Taqi Ameeni and Maulana Kalb-e-Abid.
She congratulated Prof Tauqeer Alam Falahi, the Dean, and the editorial board for publishing a good magazine, which will serve as the documentation of the history of Faculty of Theology.
Prof Tauqeer Alam Falahi said that the Faculty of Theology is one of the oldest faculties at AMU providing religious education to both the Shia and Sunni streams.
He thanked the University administration for her support and patronage in bringing out this volume. One of the contributors of the magazine, Dr. Ahmad Mujtaba Siddiqui, along with the faculty members of the Faculty, was present on the occasion.
