Administration of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman Diu School Teacher Recruitment 2025: The Directorate of Education, under the UT Administration of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu, has announced recruitment for Primary and Upper Primary School Teachers on a short-term contract basis under Samagra Shiksha.

Administration of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman Diu School Teacher Recruitment 2025 – Vacancy Details

The total number of vacancies is 180, divided as follows:

• Primary School Teacher (PS): 65 vacancies
• Upper Primary School Teacher (UPS): 115 vacancies

Category-Wise Distribution of Vacancies

4% of the seats are reserved for the Physically Handicapped (PH) category.

Eligibility Criteria

For Primary School Teachers (Class I to V)

Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have one of the following qualifications:

• Senior Secondary (XII) with 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.)
• Senior Secondary (XII) with 45% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education as per NCTE regulations
• Senior Secondary (XII) with 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
• Senior Secondary (XII) with 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Special Education
• Graduation with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
• Graduation with 50% marks and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) (subject to completing a 6-month Elementary Education course from NCTE within 2 years of appointment)

Additional Requirement:

• Must have passed the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by the Central/State Government
• Should have studied in the concerned medium at the secondary level (Not applicable for language subjects like Hindi, English, Gujarati, Marathi, etc.)

Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years (Relaxable as per Government rules).

For Upper Primary School Teachers (Class VI to VIII)

Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have one of the following qualifications:

• Graduation in B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
• B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. with 50% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)
• B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. with 45% marks and 1-year B.Ed. (as per NCTE norms)
• Senior Secondary (XII) with 50% marks and 4-year B.El.Ed.
• Senior Secondary (XII) with 50% marks and 4-year B.A. Ed./B.Sc. Ed./B.Com. Ed.
• B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. with 50% marks and B.Ed. in Special Education

Additional Requirement:

• Must have passed the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by the Central/State Government in the respective subject.
• Should have studied in the concerned medium at the secondary level (Not applicable for language subjects).
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years (Relaxable as per Government rules).

Salary Details

• The selected candidates will receive a fixed salary of ₹23,000/- per month.
